The project, with an estimated total cost of $263 million, consists of the renovation of rooms, restaurants and other areas of the hotel’s structure in Fajardo.
The project has already repaired 903 streets, avenues, and roads in 68 communities in San Juan, through a $34 million investment.
The San Juan municipal government could shore up some $1.6 million in license fees from 3,792 short-term rental operators in the capital city.
