Habitat for Humanity of Puerto Rico has opened a call for a new housing project in Río Piedras, inviting families and individuals in need of a home and who have been affected by Hurricane María.
Dozens of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) member organizations, in addition to many other volunteer agencies, are present in Puerto Rico providing essential services for those affected by Hurricane María.
Five hundred families living in and around Caguas received tools and supplies to repair their homes through a partnership between Habitat for Humanity and Save the Children, the organizations announced Tuesday.
